Welcome to the SASN Virtual Networks

The concept for the Virtual Networks came about from suggestions by members who were unable to physically attend our networking groups due to the rural nature of their location, time or financial constraints.

We have therefore created a virtual environment to help with increasing communication between professionals across Scotland. It will be an area where practitioners can network to gain support and advice from others and share information. The aim is to provide networking opportunities between meetings and to assist with the difficulties of networking due to geographical spread of Scotland and provide a means for all practitioners to be included through the Virtual Network.

To access and use the Virtual Networks you must, be a professional working in the field of autism or with individuals on the autism spectrum within your work, be a member of the Scottish Autism Service Network and agree to our Principles of Participation (if you are not already a member you can find out about joining here)

You can register for the Virtual Network by clicking on the register link at the top of this page.

Unfortunately we do not have an automatic registration procedure whereby you can sign up and gain access to the Virtual Network immediately due to security procedures. However, we aim to confirm details and sign members up as soon as possible and this will usually be done within a few hours on a working day, however from Friday afternoons it may take up to 2 days. Please be patient with this – it is to protect the security of all our users.

Once you are verified as a member of the Virtual Networks you can access them via the log in link on this page or the home page at any time.
