Contributions are invited by 15 December 2009 for papers, workshops and symposia:
Papers (30 minutes)
This category should be used for new research that is theoretically informed and directly addresses the conference theme. Both conceptual and empirical papers are welcomed. Speakers are expected to keep their input to 20 minutes to allow time for discussion following their presentations. Maximum 500 words.

Symposia (90 minutes)
This category should be used for a coherent set of three papers linked by a particular theoretical or methodological approach, or to explore new findings that would benefit from discussion. A symposium proposal consists of an overview contributed by the session convenor (who may also be a presenter), plus abstracts for each of the three papers and may be a maximum of 1,000 words in length.

Workshops (60 or 90 minutes)
A proposal in this category should include the aims of the session and a breakdown of participant activities. Workshops are expected to be highly interactive; they are not intended to be extended papers. Maximum 500 words.
Accepted proposals will be available in the online programme closer to the conference, and also printed and made available in the conference booklet. Please, therefore, ensure accuracy of spelling and correct referencing. The Conference Committee may group individual papers into symposia for programme coherence. Decisions will be relayed to authors by early February 2010.
