Travel Information
Two airports serve the city: Glasgow International, about 10 miles from the city centre, and Prestwick, about 40 miles away in the Ayrshire countryside.
Many taxis serve Glasgow International, and there is a regular airport bus service which runs about every 15 minutes during the day. Alight at the Queen Street station drop-off point (journey time, depending on traffic, about 20 minutes).
If you arrive into Prestwick, there is a half-hourly train service from the airport into Glasgow Central for most of the day. The journey time is about 45 minutes.
For those arriving by train, two stations serve Glasgow. Central Station caters for passengers arriving from the south, and is a short taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk from the conference venue. Queen Street station, a 5-10 minute walk from the conference venue, serves travellers from the north and east of Scotland.
